“Cuticle Rebond Technology”
Alcohol is the second ingredient
It’s a regular conditioner bottle. This is a product whose lid doesn’t remove. It might just be my container. Has a nice, light, floral fragrance. Kind of bubble-gum-ish and fruity with a creamy base and tropical flowers.
I bought this the last time I had my hair bleached at the recommendation of the stylist. I was skeptical because alcohol is the 2nd ingredient and I haven’t used Matrix in many years because of their animal testing policy. But my hair was wrecked and I needed something and it was being recommended by someone who “knew best”. I was instructed to use the conditioner every other shampoo. I shampoo 2-3 times a week, so this works out to once or twice a week for me. I love the scent and how creamy/thick it feels in my hair. In conjunction with other products, I’m sure, (Moroccanoil shampoo, CC Cream by Caviar, Ion Overnight Repair, L’Oreal Damage Erasing Balm and good old 100% Coconut Oil), my hair is pretty healthy, a week after coloring. I think whatever Cuticle Rebond Technology is in there really helps “fragile, broken hair” as the package says.
I’m not sure I’d repurchase (I’m curious how big of an impact it has on my hair care routine) but it seems to be really helping my fragile, damaged hair. It’s also a heck of a lot cheaper than the Moroccanoil Conditioner ($22 at Regis). I’ll probably keep it on hand for the few weeks after coloring then switch it out to a different conditioner.
Overall, seems to be helping my bleached hair! $10 is a fair price to try it out on your damaged hair, right?
