I like the packaging! It’s a pump formula and comes out as a cream gel. The scent is fresh and lotion-y, like a laundry detergent, without being overpowering or lingering. Directions say to use 1-2 pumps on dry or towel-dry hair. Using that recipe, this 3.2 oz bottle would last awhile, so I’d consider it a good value for the $11 price tag.
Since I bleached my hair at a beauty school 3 months ago or so, my hair just hasn’t been the same. It’s not as strawlike as it was coming out of the salon but it’s not strong or healthy. I’ve been trying all sorts of oils, treatments, repair masks, serums and potions to try to revive my damaged locks. I liked that this was something effortless, I could apply at night and forget about. It says it is a non-greasy formula that won’t leave your pillow oily. It’s not a protein treatment so you can use it as often as you like. First ingredient is water, no alcohol in sight. Paraben free, so far we’re looking good. I use this once or twice a week and wake up with soft feeling hair that still looks frizzy and damaged. I don’t think it’s hurting my hair so I keep using it but it’s not visibly helping my hair.
Overall, it’s a product worth trying if you have severely damaged hair. It did improve my hair’s texture just not it’s appearance.
