Hey Pursebuzzers (:
Today’s featured product is the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette!
Featuring the long awaited Urban Decay palette including matte eye shadows.

This is the back of the packaging with the colors listed.
The packaging is so sleek & chic, I am so in love <3
The Urban Decay naked basics palette includes 1 shimmer highlight color, aka VENUS, and 5 matte colors. 5 of the 6 colors in this palette were never before seen in other palettes except for FOXY, which was included in the Naked 2 palette.
I appreciate the fact that Urban Decay always includes a mirror in the palettes. If you’re running out of time in the house to apply your make-up, be thankful for the mirror. It helps a ton— I know. Aren’t these colors beautiful? This palette is a great stand alone palette, meaning you can create a variety of eye looks using just these colors, or f you own any of the other Naked palettes, you can use some of those colors as well, or any other eye shadows you own. One thing I love about these amazing matte shadows is that they are NOT chalky! I’ve been using this palette daily & at times include half-baked, one of my favorite eye shadows from UD.
Venus is a satin neutral pink/white-shimmered creamy white.
The color payoff is excellent & the texture is soft, smooth, and buttery.
Foxy is a yellow beige with a matte finish; reminds me of sand.
It has good color payoff & was soft and smooth to work with.
Walk of Shame- sandy color with a hint of light pink.
Great pigmentation.
Naked 2 is a taupe, brown with some gray & a matte finish.
It had nice pigmentation & a soft, smooth texture.
Faint is a medium-dark chocolate brown with a matte finish.
The pigmentation was perfect, & it was very soft to the touch.
Crave is a dark black with brown undertones and a matte finish.
It was very soft, smooth, and nicely pigmented.
I love using faint & crave to create a really nice smokey eye!

an eye look using all the colors in the palette, and added LASHES IN A BOX falsies ![]()
I am so in love with the falsies too! I’m wearing the #4′s. http://www.lashesinabox.com/

Overall, this is the best palette for daily use & to even carry around in your travel make-up bag or to just keep in your purse. The matte eye shadows are very easy to blend & the highlighter is to die for. Literally probably one of my favorite urban decay eye shadows! The price is great in comparison to the Naked 1 and Naked 2 palettes (even though I recommend those as well). I religiously buy Urban Decay palettes! Especially, the Naked collection! I love them way too much! I believe this should definitely be in every girls’ makeup bag!
*If you are a fan of neutral & matte color eye shadows… I highly recommend that you go out & purchase this palette. It is amazing! 5 STARS all the way for these palette! This is one palette that I will repurchase whenever I run out! Can’t live without it!
PROS: smooth application, pigmentation is great, compact, easy to use, affordable.
CONS: i wish a mini brush could have been included in the palette, or even an eyeliner.
