China Glaze Urban Night

Written by , Posted in China Glaze, Product Review, Swatches

Price: $6-8

Where to Buy: check your salons, eBay, Amazon.

Pros:

  • formula is long-wearing and creamy

Cons:

  • released fall 2011, so somewhat hard to find

Packaging: I have always liked China Glaze’s packaging. Simple roundish bottle. Nice brush. Visible color. Readable name on the bottom. Nothing to dislike.

Review:

I love this polish! A lot of people love OPI (and I like OPI for their clever names, revolving collections and moderate price point) but I just feel lukewarm about them. My favorite brand is China Glaze. Urban Night reminds me of a Lincoln Park After Dark shade. A deep berry, almost black in artificial lighting. Super creamy and glossy. Vampy but not bloody. Probably dupe-able but I think China Glaze has the best formula.

Overall

If you canĀ find this polish, finish out your winter blues with this deep, vampy purple.
