Bonus – I think that it is important for highlighters to have solid pigmentation, with a buildable coverage so that one can get a natural glow or a frosty sheen, depending on the look being attempted. My fave is Mary Lou Manizer, which is pigmented, but can still look really natural!

2. My favorite Milani Face Illuminating Powder is the Hermosa Rose. Tap a brush in different areas can get you a rosey blush, a great higlight, and/ or a bronzer.

8. To get rid of sharp eyeshadow edges, Kristina Monique suggested to grab a powder puff and fold it in half like a taco and blend the harsh eyeshadow edge with the edge of the powder puff because the powder puff is going to pick up the eyeshadow.
Bonus: Highlighters are a little pigmented and contains shimmer properties because they are suppose to define the areas where it is applied and bring a “glow” to the face, for example, the bridge of the nose and above the cheek bones.

Highlighters are meant to be pigmented is the sense that the sheen or glow should be present however i believe they should not be pigmented in color, you dont want to push a blush color on your highlight area.

Yes highlighters are supposed to be pigmented. The more pigmented the highlighter is, the greater it’s light reflecting abilities are!
highlighters reflect light off the face which enhances the features such as the nose bridge and the brow bone.

Bonus: I believe a highlighter is just meant to give your skin a very natural shimmery glow without chunks of glitter. It should not have too much pigmentation but rather just a nice frosty sheer look when applied. The highlight should blend nicely with your skin for a natural finish.

BONUS: No, highlighters are not really supposed to have pigmentation because if it had color to it, it would be a blush and we definitely don’t want to put blush in the highlight area. Highlighters are supposed to just give a “glow” effect. Bringing out your cheeks.
