Salon Perfect Glitter Crackle Polish Review and Swatch
I saw this at Walmart and couldn’t resist!
Where to Buy: Walmart
- several colors
- first glitter crackle I’ve seen
- widely available
- dries somewhat matte, not shiny
- not a great crackle polish
- not a great glitter polish
This polish comes in a cylindrical bottle with a good amount of polish, 3 oz. Wand is medium-sized and writing on the glitter polish packaging is hard to read.
This is an inexpensive polish. The formula is runny but the sparkle factor is outrageous. I layered Cracked Emerald over Hard Candy’s “Envy” (super dark green, almost black) and liked the results. The polish is nothing out of the ordinary. Good idea, poor execution. As a crackle polish, it’s not great. As a glitter polish, it’s not great. It dries to a somewhat matte finish, not glossy at all but the green luminescence is high, especially over a dark color. Once it’s dry, it looks like a not-so-great glitter polish with holes in it. I’m not a big fan of this. Up close, you can definitely tell it’s a glitter crackle. But the observable effect to those around you will be kinda ‘meh’.
Save your money or try one of the solid colors.
