People always say that blue eyeshadow is soooo 80′s, but if you know how to use it on your kind of eyes it can really make a great pop of color. I say “Go for it”! There are no rules in makeup.

It’s all in the technique and maybe the shade of blue and the rest of your makeup. In general I like it, esp. icy blues, and teal-y, peacock-y blues. Thanks Elessa!

I say you can wear any color, as long as it’s in moderation, and the right shade. My mother always wore blue eye shadow and I think she looked beautiful when she did (she now wears neutrals).

I LOVE blue eyeshadow, it’s one of those colors that you pull out only for special occasions. For my prom I wore a turquiose dress so blue eyeshadow was a must. I wouldn’t wear blue for everyday personally because I think it can be too loud sometimes, but it is good once in a while.

Blue shadow is okay depending on how the person applies it. I love using blue eyeshadow to apply to my lower lash line when I’m wearing just eyeliner or something neutral because it adds a nice pop of color.

Blue is one of my favorite colors so of course I wear blue eyeshadow. I especially love dark blues as smokey eyes. I think it’s a fun alternative to neutral shadow that isn’t so crazy.

I personally love blue eyeshadows. They can be used in spring, summer, and even winter. Fall, not so much, but 3 out of 4 isn’t bad. They also add a certain sparkle and pretty much work with any eye color or hair color. Blues are simply beautiful!

I think of makeup as not just to look pretty but to let your artistic imagination set sail. With the color blue, I think of all the things blue in the world. I like to think that my face is a canvas. Like a picture of a beach or the infinite sky, your main focus is your eyes. In my opinion, blue is very eye-catching. However, I’m more of a neutral person but if it’s a night out or a party, I would bust out my blue eyeshadow!

My first eyeshadow I ever owned I got from Wal-Mart (dont remember the brand… I think it was by Bon Bon thats used to be in the $.99 buckets by the registers lol) when I was in the 6th grade and it was this nice icey blue loose shadow. But yeah like blue/navy smokey eyes are one of my favorite looks!

I don’t wear blue eyeshadow a lot because it doesn’t seem to go well with yellow toned skin. But I really love periwrinkle blues, royal blues so sometimes I cheat by using them as a subtle liner on the top lash line or as a bold liner on the lower lash line for a pop of colour.

I hated blue eyeshadow as a kid, mostly because my mom would use this really pale, pastel blue that would make her look sick. These days, I love blue eyeshadow. It’s happy, fun, and more interesting than black or brown. I mostly swap between blue or purple eyeshadow, these days.

What I think about blue eyeshadow is that it pops and it’s just really pretty but you can’t use a lot of it with really pink lipstick or something because then you would look like you have way too much makeup on. Blue eye make-up does really make your eyes pop, regardless of the colour of your eyes. But some of us have to use is sparingly or strategically.
Personally I usually stick with darker blues. Not yet brave enough to try the fun and flirty pale blues.

I love blue eyeshadow, especially if it’s a TRUE blue. With dark eyes it really makes them pop. I almost always wear Navy eyeliner even if I’m wearing mauve and rust eyeshadows. It wakens up the eyes and makes your whites WHITER! And that’s important especially if you are already kind of droopy feeling if you don’t sleep well and such.

Blue eyeshadow is my other go-to eyeshadow besides black. When I first began really wearing makeup and learning how to apply makeup, I always wore a black base and dabbed denim blue eyeshadow over it. I always got complements how great it looked. Now I’m able to combine different shades of blue from bright to bold to rich or dark and sultry depending on my mood. I still continue to always get the most complements when I’m wearing shades of blue on my eyes.

I started experimenting with eyeshadows not so long ago. Even so, blue has always been my favourite colour and I have really dark brown eyes, almost black, also small – cat like. All I’ve read everywhere and my friends told me 2 that I couldn’t wear blue makeup but I just wouldn’t listen… that’s how it all started for me – discovering the great magic of eyeshadows and blending =D Anyway I still get all the attention when I go out wearing blue eyeshadow or eyeliner! It compliments my eyes sooo much and when I wonder what makeup I wanna go out with – it is always back to this look
And I think it is blue makeup that brings some kind of confidence to me to make me look so good with it – just because I know this is MY colour and there is no way it will not look fabulous on me! =))))

Blue eyeshadow is a year round eye color. Great for the spring when you use a pastel blue for that flowery soft bit of color. Wear a bright blue for the summer to make your eyes glow. I love blue as a color, it is my favorite one. In the case of make up I would use darker blues since light tones does not look good with my skin color. But, I think it is a fun, bright and challenging eye color!

i think blue eyeshadow is a beautiful color that really let your eyes pop!
it reminds me of the ocean i have an blue eyeshadow from maybelline and i kinda like it each day more and more because my mom is azian i don’t have big eyes i have kinda eyes like you but with that color my eyes look brigther soo yeah i like it very much.

My new year resolution is to be as calm and peaceful to my family and friends to keep our relationship close because they’re really important to me:) the blue eyeshadow makes me feel like I’m free since ocean has that freedom feeling:) And blue eyeshadow gives the eyes a beautiful look too, and it makes them POP:)
