    I think if done wrong, blue eye shadow can look slutty. but if you add different colors and blend right it looks stunning.

    I was always told as a child that only hookers wear blue eyeshadow. haha Makes me laugh now. I love to wear blue. I especially love to wear it to family functions with the old ladies who probably think I’m a hooker now. ;)

    People always say that blue eyeshadow is soooo 80′s, but if you know how to use it on your kind of eyes it can really make a great pop of color. I say “Go for it”!  There are no rules in makeup.

    I say you can wear any color, as long as it’s in moderation, and the right shade. My mother always wore blue eye shadow and I think she looked beautiful when she did (she now wears neutrals).

    I LOVE blue eyeshadow, it’s one of those colors that you pull out only for special occasions. For my prom I wore a turquiose dress so blue eyeshadow was a must. I wouldn’t wear blue for everyday personally because I think it  can be too loud sometimes, but it is good once in a while.

    Blue shadow is okay depending on how the person applies it. I love using blue eyeshadow to apply to my lower lash line when I’m wearing just eyeliner or something neutral because it adds a nice pop of color.

    Blue is one of my favorite colors so of course I wear blue eyeshadow. I especially love dark blues as smokey eyes. I think it’s a fun alternative to neutral shadow that isn’t so crazy.

    I personally love blue eyeshadows. They can be used in spring, summer, and even winter. Fall, not so much, but 3 out of 4 isn’t bad. They also add a certain sparkle and pretty much work with any eye color or hair color. Blues are simply beautiful!

    I love a dark blue look. A more dark blue with just a hint of purple midnight color. I just love a smokey blue look. Bright blue is just too much for me though it look beautiful on u. I know that it is hard to pull off the blue sometimes

    I think of makeup as not just to look pretty but to let your artistic imagination set sail. With the color blue, I think of all the things blue in the world. I like to think that my face is a canvas. Like a picture of a beach or the infinite sky, your main focus is your eyes. In my opinion, blue is very eye-catching. However, I’m more of a neutral person but if it’s a night out or a party, I would bust out my blue eyeshadow!

    I like blue eye shadows, and I really like the dark blue eye shadow, but I would only wear it if its a smokey eye and only at night when I go to a party or something. I wouldnt wear blue during the day or just any regular days.

    blue eyeshadows are nice depending on how color cordinate it. but i wouldn’t use it on me as i dont want to make my dark circles appear darker than it already is. you look nice with blue eyeshadows!

    Blue shadow is beautiful especially for those who have brown eyes, at first i was very scared to try different colors but i bought a mac blue and i tried it out and i love love love it it makes my eyes pop out and the color be brighter love it.

    And it was beautiful and frost.

    with the right outfit it can look great. it also depends on the event. A lot for school or work probably no but if you use like a navy blue eyeliner it can really enhance your eye color. But it can look ffabulous for a night out if youre using more like in this tutorial :)

    Love them if they are put on right, or paired with a neutral. You have to be careful but they can be super pretty and I’ve always loved blue eyeshadow. Not really for everyday though.

But this past week I put a lighter blue on and made a smokey eye look out of it, and it looked amazing. You really pull off the blue really well. I think it just depends on the shades of blue and skin under tones. (:

     I don’t wear blue eyeshadow a lot because it doesn’t seem to go well with yellow toned skin. But I really love periwrinkle blues, royal blues so sometimes I cheat by using them as a subtle liner on the top lash line or as a bold liner on the lower lash line for a pop of colour.

I recently just starting playing with blue – not covering my entire lid but blending it in here & there for pops of color or using it to line my bottom lash line. Back in high school I was a cheerleader and our school color was royal blue so you better believe I ws rocking all kinds of looks with it :)

    I hated blue eyeshadow as a kid, mostly because my mom would use this really pale, pastel blue that would make her look sick. These days, I love blue eyeshadow. It’s happy, fun, and more interesting than black or brown. I mostly swap between blue or purple eyeshadow, these days. :D LOVE IT.

    What I think about blue eyeshadow is that it pops and it’s just really pretty but you can’t use a lot of it with really pink lipstick or something because then you would look like you have way too much makeup on.     I haven’t learned to pull off blue yet but I do love the color on you….one day after I learn to use eye shadows I want to try this look :) Pretty sure my mom will go nuts though because I normally look really plain haha

    I really do enjoy blue shadows! I usually don’t wear them super dark blue shadows but sometimes i apply a shimmery light electric blue shadow on the lid and deepen it up with a charcoal black color to create a blue smokey eye :)

    Blue eye make-up does really make your eyes pop, regardless of the colour of your eyes. But some of us have to use is sparingly or strategically. :D Personally I usually stick with darker blues. Not yet brave enough to try the fun and flirty pale blues.

    Blue eyeshadow certainly requires time to get used to and to wear it right. For that reason, many people don’t even try blue eyeshadow which is sad since this color look so nice on many people. Whenever I do makeup on other people, I try blue a lot since this is the color that the most people are afraid of.

    I love blue eyeshadow, especially if it’s a TRUE blue.  With dark eyes it really makes them pop.  I almost always wear Navy eyeliner even if I’m wearing mauve and rust eyeshadows.    It wakens up the eyes and makes your whites WHITER!  And that’s important especially if you are already kind of droopy feeling if you don’t sleep well and such.

    Blue eyeshadow is my other go-to eyeshadow besides black. When I first began really wearing makeup and learning how to apply makeup, I always wore a black base and dabbed denim blue eyeshadow over it. I always got complements how great it looked. Now I’m able to combine different shades of blue from bright to bold to rich or dark and sultry depending on my mood. I still continue to always get the most complements when I’m wearing shades of blue on my eyes.

    I started experimenting with eyeshadows not so long ago. Even so, blue has always been my favourite colour and I have really dark brown eyes, almost black, also small – cat like. All I’ve read everywhere and my friends told me 2 that I couldn’t wear blue makeup but I just wouldn’t listen… that’s how it all started for me – discovering the great magic of eyeshadows and blending =D Anyway I still get all the attention when I go out wearing blue eyeshadow or eyeliner! It compliments my eyes sooo much and when I wonder what makeup I wanna go out with – it is always back to this look ;) And I think it is blue makeup that brings some kind of confidence to me to make me look so good with it – just because I know this is MY colour and there is no way it will not look fabulous on me! =))))

    Blue eyeshadow is a year round eye color. Great for the spring when you use a pastel blue for that flowery soft bit of color. Wear a bright blue for the summer to make your eyes glow. Wear a darker blue with a hightlight color near the tearduct for that sultry look in Autumn and a Shimmery blue for the winter so it sparkles like the snow falling from the blue sky! ^_^
