MAC Mattene Lipsticks 2011 Review and Swatches

I have always loved the feel of a MAC Mattene lipstick. From the velvet lipstick tube to the full pigmentation of the lipstick itself. I haven’t had a color I didn’t love. And these new Fall shades for 2011 are no exception. Completely sexy and perfect for all occasions.

With its streamlined design, this new slimline lipcolour, features the traditional glamour properties of a matte lipstick – intense colour and semi-matte velvety finish – while offering a creamier, softer, more glide-on application. Non-caking, non drying. Moisturizing and incredibly wearable yet absolutely matte.

Colors
- Seeds of Desire- Deep wine with brown tones. This is a bit dark for myself but I find it on those with deeper skintones to be amazing.
- Deliciously Forbidden- Opaque rose-berry. My fave as a semi bright lip
- Naked Bliss- Opaque pink nude. Will cover up even the pinkest lips. If you have more color to your lips add a bit of concealer first.

Overall Thoughts
I love these colors. My fave is Forbidden Desire because it is bright but not too intense where you might feel self conscious in certain settings. The colors last a long time and feel light as air on the lips. Add a little lip liner to the lips for the added curve and polished lips.

I think im going to go pick up the naked bliss i love how perfect it looks.
Naked Bliss is such an amazing color. But its hard to balance uber nude and looking sickly

I am not hot on the matte, but love the color Deliciously Forbidden……I may have to make a stop at Macy’s at the MAC counter and see if they are carrying it!
i got fresh amour and while i love the color it makes my teeth look yellow = ( I noticed it after filming a video and posting lol yikes
