Benefit Sugar Bomb Highlight Review and Product Swatches

Written by , Posted in Benefit, Blog, Brand, Featured, Product Review, Swatches

Benefit sure has a lot of fantastic products from highlights to lacquer blushes.  I love the names of the products and the uber cute packaging.

The Benefit Sugar Bomb is considered a highlighter so don’t expect a lot of actual colored pigmentation. This palette contains 4 colors and blend as one to create dimensional highlights.

Benefit Sugar Bomb comes in a metallic cardboard box and also contains a brush, which I think is goat hair.  The small flat brush is great for touch ups but if you want real shimmer grab something with more fibers.

If you want smooth subtle shimmer that is easy to travel with then I recommend checking this one out.

PROS CONS
Subtle shimmer, you can’t go overboard Initial price may appear high. Remember you are getting a brush too.
Great blend of 4 colors Wish it came in other shades
Easy compact case You may need to apply two coats depending if like a lot of shimmer, or just something subtle
Looks good on lighter skin tones and creates dimension with the diff colors. If you have deeper skintones this might not show up on you as well.
Can be used as eyeshadow too

Overall Thoughts

If you like subtle shimmer then is perfect. This is perfect because it isn’t gritty or chalky. I would recommend this to someone who doesn’t want a highlighter or blush.. just middle of the road.
