Anastasia is well known for their eyebrows and their amazing natural shades. I remember growing up it was so hard to find pencils that matched my brows. It was either too red, too dark, or just weird. I did some swatches at Sephora today and I was really impressed at the wide range of brow accessories. From gels, powders, to of our course Pencils!!!

I know I rarely talk about brows, but that doesn’t mean I don’t know about them. I think having bangs really helps me to be lazy with mine. (out of site out of mind)Tee hee.. but in all seriousness I’d like to know

I love these Special Edition Barbies. First the Dooney and Bourke, M.A.C and now Tarina Tarantino.. They just keep getting cuter and cuter too. If you are a Barbie collector this cannot be missed. Available at Coastalscents.com are mineral shadows that go for $6.95-$7.95 depending on the shade. I understand that everyone is looking for great prices so I wanted to show you a great alternative to iridescent shadows. I spent $32 dollars on NARS Iceland and it’s actually very deceiving. At first glance it’s two white shadows in one palette. But that is incorrect, it’s two great “highlighters” with a subtle color to “match” the rest of your shadows. It’s a great inner corner and tear duct shadow. While $32 isn’t much for some it sure isn’t worth it at times. I received a sample of Coastalscents Hi Violet and had to get the rest. They serve the same purpose but at the fraction of the price. But everyone should have at least one of these-NARS or Coastalscents

All of the colors were pretty and fun but only one has really caught my eyes.

My Must Have was Mutiny

• Mutiny- This is a cool light teal. Very refreshing, very soft like Vanilla Pigment

I have Lovely Lily and Lark about but they aren’t as fab as Mutiny.

• Bell Bottom Blue-I am going to go back for Bell Bottom Blue. I wasn’t sure about it but when I went outside I loved how it looked. There is this shimmer of silver flecks that makes it super pretty. And the gal there said that it doesn’t oxidize on her. BINGO!!!
• Lark About- Feels chunky like Kitchmas or Frost pigment. It’s kinda blue white. It’s a great transformer color. Changed dull shadows to something new.
• Lovely Lily- Soft muted lilac lavendar color.
• Smoothblue-I picked this up because I don’t have a teal blue eyeliner except for my Urban Decay one that I rarely use. Lark about looks soo cool on top of Smoothblue.
• Grayprint- This is lovely for summertime. A soft eyeliner for definition but no harsh black liner.
• Love knot- Pearly pink orange color. I dunno what was going on, but it was frosty. I liked but, but I just bought dazzleglass. So I have to noodle on it.
• Hey Sailor-This was so pretty I had to swatch it twice haha. Again, I bought Dazzleglass so I have to pass on this too.
• Shore Leave- Ohh this was pretty, but I have Naked Lunch and Phoof and I passed this round. I might go back and get this and Illegal Cargo.
• Illegal Cargo is almost like Satin Taupe. One of my favorite shadows so I mostly like will go back for this one.
• Submarine- Blue shadow. Almost like blue calm from MAC Pro. Its bright and vibrant.

Smokey Black eyes are seen all over magazines and the red carpet. This look was inspired by Fergie at Idol Gives Back. I don’t remember exactly what it looked like. I just loved the black sparkles.

Not really like this.. but you can smoke it up more on the bottom lid

I have been so impressed with their unique shadow choices. And this second haul did not disappoint. They offer you the everyday variety of browns and blues, but if you pick the right shades you will find off beat must have colors that are rarely duped. Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I went to the beach for the first time this year. It was nice and warm. My friend was having a b-day party there, and lots of friends showed up. The food was great and I love chicken sausages from Costco !!! YUM YUM

I sprayed sunblock on myself but I totally missed the lower back area. Needless to say that part is Red and I’ll be sleeping on my tummy tonight. Here are some pics of my day out.

This what they did at their Big Hollywood Bash~

The little girls were adorable walking down the red carpet at her “Hollywood Birthday Party”. They had Shirley Temples in martini glasses, watched a makeup Pursebuzz video and a hair Pursebuzz video, did karaoke, had a dance contest, we had a “Makeup & Glitter Bar” and they made their own purses. Everyone was all dressed up in their Hollywood party attire.
